Florence Christian School was established in 1972 as a ministry of the Florence Baptist Temple to assist families in training their children spiritually and academically.  In August of that year 54 students enrolled in grades K - 3.  The sixteen students in the Class of '79 were the first to graduate from Florence Christian School.

Through the years, Florence Christian School has excelled in offering a great academic program that is founded on Biblical principals.  Presently, Florence Christian School has an enrollment of over 650 students in grades K3-12.

The total number of graduates from Florence Christian School is quickly approaching 800.  Many of these graduates have gone on to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in professions that cover almost every area of life.
