Guidance

Each year 95% of the graduates of FCS choose and get accepted to institutions of higher learning. In addition, these graduates apply for and are awarded scholarships and financial aid.

While FCS assists students in the area of guidance, FCS does encourage its students to take the initiative to research college, professional, and financial aid opportunities on their own. Students are given approved absences during their junior and senior years to visit colleges and universities. During the school year, FCS allows Christian colleges and universities to present their schools to the students.

Students enrolled in FCS take four standardized tests during their high school years. These tests not only help prepare for the college entrance exams but also provide guidance for possible career choices.

The tests are as follows:

9th Grade - National Education Development Test (NEDT)

10th Grade - PACT/PLAN

11th Grade - PSAT (FAll Semester)

SAT or ACT (Spring Semester)

12th Grade - SAT or ACT (as needed)
