On Friday, March 28th the Eagles won 8-3 against Thomas Sumter in a region game.  Chase Skinner picked up his 3rd win of teh season by going 5 1/3 innings.  Matthew Prosser came in to close the game by going 1 2/3 innings giving up only 2 hits and striking out 3.  Robert Lawhon and Matthew Prosser combined for 2 home runs and 6 RBI's on the night.  Chase Skinner also had two hits and 1 RBI. 

On Thursday, April 3rd the Eagles will travel to Lake City to play Carolina Academy at 7:00 p.m. 

The Eagles are now 4-4 on the season. 

Schedule Change** March 4th game against Marlboro will be made up on April 4th in Bennettsville at 4:00.

About Coach Keefe...

Coach Keefe and his wife Stacie have two children, Joshua and Corley.  He is a 1987 graduate of Florence Christian School and an alumni of Francis Marion University (1992).   Coach Keefe played baseball for Francis Marion and was inducted into the FMU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2000.  He currently serves as our Director of Student Affairs, Athletic Director, Varsity Baseball Coach and will be our Varsity Girls Basketball Coach for the 2007-2008 season.  He has been a part of the Florence Baptist Temple church family for 31 years.
