The Student Government, under the direction of Mrs. Johnson have taken an active roll in community service projects in the Florence area.  

Members of the association are elected to class offices by their classmates and learn leadership principals by organizing and running these  programs and community service projects. 

In the past, the student government has raised money to help needy people in the community, minister to area nursing homes and children's hospitals.  The members of the student government also lead their classes in projects like Homecoming and "FCS Service Saturdays".
