The Watson’s Story
We know when we drop our kids off everyday that what they are being taught spiritually and morally lines up with the things being taught in the walls of our home, and that is comforting to us as parents.
The Watsons
…on WHY they chose FCS:
We chose FCS for many reasons. When we were visiting private schools in Florence and the surrounding areas, we had a list of things that we were looking for in a school. We were looking for a school with the same spiritual and moral values we teach our kids at home, rigorous academics, a competitive athletic program, and a family. When visiting schools we quickly realized that there are many other great schools in the area, but they did not check all of these boxes. FCS did. We immediate felt at home shortly after visiting FCS.
…on what they LOVE about FCS:
We love the expectations they have for our children spiritually, academically and athletically. We love that they are pushed to give and do their best in all things. We love that the teachers and coaches are invested in our kids and that we know they love and have their best interests at heart.
…on the GROWTH they’ve seen in their kids while at FCS:
Our three children have grown in different ways over the years at FCS, but one thing that stands put is that all three have grown and developed in their spiritual walk. We see them as they have become teenagers rely on their faith to get through many situations. We would say to parents thinking about sending their kids to FCS, we know when we drop our kids off everyday that what they are being taught spiritually and morally lines up with the things being taught in the walls of our home, and that is comforting to us as parents.
…on the ways they see FCS preparing their kids for COLLEGE and life:
One of our boys graduated 2023. He was an honor graduate, and a very involved athlete. He graduated with 18 hours of college course work and is wrapping up his first semester of college majoring in Political Science (Pre-Law) with all A’s in all of his classes. He was prepared for college. He left FCS with the academics he needed, and also the work ethic that he learned through sports/athletics to be a successful college student.
